Shipping, Custom Order Policy & Returns

Shipping

Thank you for stopping by cottage coastal store! We hope that you found an item or items that suit your beachside lifestyle! To provide that your new items arrive smoothly and without any questions or worries, we have outlined our general shipping policies below.

Shipping Promotions

Free ship promotion valid on orders $150 & over. Applies to Ground shipping only. Free shipping does not apply toward items requiring overweight or oversized packages. (These items are noted in the product’s detail page.) For orders requiring multiple shipments the first package is free, on subsequent packages freight charges will apply. Use coupon code freeship at checkout under the Coupon Code / Promotional Code section. Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii or Alaska.

Standard Shipping

When you place an order with cottage coastal store, we will estimate shipping via UPS and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the UPS shipping options you choose. Shipping costs for orders from cottage coastal store depend upon the method and option you choose.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Our Oversized Items

Large, bulky items which require special packaging such as furniture and large mirrors can only be shipped via UPS Ground or freight. No express deliveries.

Custom Order Policy

Custom order items may require production time in addition to shipping time. You will receive an estimate of both time and cost upon ordering. Custom orders may not be returned unless defective or damaged during shipment. Custom orders are charged upon placement of order.

Receiving your Shipment

Cottage coastal store takes great care in packaging our items. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur. Please inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Should you find that your merchandise is damaged, you may choose to refuse the delivery. Please report any damage to cottage coastal store at the time of delivery.

Satisfaction & Returns

Cottage coastal store strives to guarantee your 100% satisfaction with all of our products. We want you to be satisfied with the value and quality of your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied please contact us.

Returns must be pre-authorized by calling or emailing us within seven (7) days of delivery. After you have received a return authorization and return instructions, the merchandise must be returned within ten (10) business days. Return instructions will vary depending upon the item purchased.

Returned items may be subject to a 15% restocking and reprocessing fee.

Refusal of Delivery

If you refuse delivery of the item when it reaches your home or place of business, you will be charged for all shipping costs, including the cost to return the item to cottage coastal store or one of our manufacturers.
